CALL FOR PRESENTERS!

In preparation for the January 2013 Face Everything and Recover Retreat, the retreat committee is in search of presenters and speakers to help make this retreat a success.  As such, we are launching our Call for Presenters.

You are invited to submit an outline of the subject or topics upon which you can share your experience, strength and hope with your fellow CoDA members.  Please refer to the guidelines below.

Please forward this information to other CoDA presenters who may be interested in submitting an outline.  Sooner is better than later, so please submit your outlines in by September 1, 2012.

Please direct your questions to Donald, the retreat facilitator, at yakrider@ymail.com or at 404.333.5790

GUIDELINES:

Our goal for presenters and speakers at the Face Everything and Recover retreat is that you provide your own actual experience, strength and hope while working the CoDA program on your own problems of codependence.  As a speaker or presenter, you must include Twelve-step recovery tools or “takeaways” that attendees can choose to use to apply to their own recovery from codependence. We ask that you not promote your books,  therapy methods, religion, medications, diagnoses, materials or anything that may be considered promotion outside of the CoDA program of recovery.

We ask that you submit an outline of your speech or presentation, along with any communication tools that you require no later than 1 September, 2012 to be considered as a presenter at this retreat.

*Note that we have limited communication tools available.

Thanks for your interest and for helping us to keep the CoDA message of recovery clear and accessible to all who come here.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Donald
